thank you for your comment. It is possible to work outside of India as a web designer.

You can try to work as freelancer remotely by creating your own online portfolio and contacting web design agencies.

This is Omm its really great. I am on my computer study (bachelor of computer application).
After my School i have done web designing course and working from last 3-4 years….I am from India is it possible to work outside of India as a web designer.

An update to this: I became emerged in another web projects and have not touched the Iphone development environment at all

BUT i have found a fantastic iPhone Developer who works with us at Sensis - Lenka Pitonakova instead!

I’m glad to hear that the post is useful to such a number of designers.

It’s fantastic to hear that you are already working on your portfolio and CV whilst still at college. That will give serve you well when you graduate and will be able to send out your CV to employers. Also, bear in mind you can find a part-time job (if you are good:) and work from home already! That will give you experience, some cash and improve your CV too.

Hey I am a college student in America and am anticipating graduation sometime in 2010. I figured it would be best to work on compiling my portfolio as well as my resume and cover letter all while I’m still in college to save time as well as allow time to perfect all three.

I found this article not only extremely informative but very full of details and very interesting.

You have a beautifully designed webpage and an extensive portfolio which displays various types of websites and graphic projects. I also used a lot of the same aspects on my resume as you used on yours. As I feel that your resume is VERY strong an does an excellent job of portraying your skills and experience.
